With a groom who is proudly serving our country and a bride that looks like she just stepped out of a storybook and a beautiful day on the beach – what more could you ask for? Lauren and Derreck exchanged vows, rings and loving looks with the support of family and friends during their lovely wedding on Daytona Beach, FL in late May. Derreck had to ship back out, so their honeymoon is being delayed until their first anniversary. Derreck and Lauren’s Daytona Beach wedding

Audrey and Dustin decided to have their beautiful beach wedding at The Resort at Little Harbor in Ruskin, FL. The wedding took place seaside, with the reception inside the Sunset Grill. We were blessed with a gorgeous day filled with light breezes and a colorful sunset!

While Derrick was home on leave, he and Lauren decided to share a few of their precious moments with us for their engagement session.  It was a cold morning with wind chill temperatures in the 30s, but that didn’t stop her from dressing in red and blue for her man.  Love those shoes, Lauren!  She also brought the love letters she’s saved since he enlisted. We are so looking forward to photographing their wedding in May – what an adorable couple.

Congratulations, Alyssa on your upcoming graduation from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. Alyssa majored in Elementary Education and has already started working at a local school. She is such a sweet girl and so excited about this new chapter in her life!

When I first met with this young couple, I knew capturing their wedding photos was going to such an honor. Whenever they would look at each other, they would instantly smile – you know – THAT smile. The one that says, “I’ve found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.” Their wedding was held in their small church in Plant City, and the reception was held in downtown Lakeland at the Peggy Brown Building. Since we were so close to the lake, we walked down to get a few bridal party shots on the Promenade and at Hollis Gardens. Here are a few pages from their wedding album, just to give you a sample of how beautiful their day was.

These two are such a sweet couple – I can hardly wait for their wedding in just a few short weeks I just love when you can look at a couple and the happiness they share just fills the whole area. Stay tuned for their gorgeous wedding photos to follow soon….

These two hold a special place in my heart. I met Amanda a few years ago in an around about way through a High Heel Hike for Autism benefit and talked her into coming out to model for us at one of our local meetups. She is such a beautiful young lady and was so much fun to work with. Mike, her lifetime hero, is a fireman in Tampa. Their wedding was at the lovely Rusty Pelican at Rocky Point in Tampa. From the beautiful ceremony at the water’s edge to the colorful streamers at the reception, this was a gorgeous wedding. The groom’s cake was a firetruck and the little figurine atop the wedding cake was a fireman rescuing his lady – so cute!  You can easily see the love they have for one another. Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day. Bill and I had a great time!

Ashley visited my booth at the PC Bridal Exhibit wedding show in April and talked with me briefly about photographing her wedding this fall. I included a complimentary engagement session in her package so I could meet her and Cecil before their wedding day.   Since  he is in the military and was only going to be home for the holiday weekend, we went out Friday evening to grab a few shots.
They wanted to do the engagement session at Circle B Ranch in Winter Haven.  The trails with huge beautiful oaks are perfect for an outdoor shoot and a favorite among local photographers. Thank you, Ashley and Cecil for choosing me to be your wedding photographer and spending a few of your precious hours with me this weekend.

Wow – how time flies. It seems like only yesterday that I took this little one’s newborn photos and now she’s a year old!

Phillip and Sayler also came over today to show me that they were ready for Santa to come!  Such sweet babies….I know they won’t have any coal in their stockings!

Kaysin is three months NEW now and her little personality is really starting to shine.  She has her momma’s big smile and gorgeous eyes – such a pretty little thing.

Wow – I still can’t believe these guys are all grown up now! I have worked with their family for quite some time, so I remember them when they were little kids. We met down at Hollis Gardens for family photos and to get their Christmas card shot for this year.

These two were so sweet! Kenzie is a great big sister and seems to be enjoying the baby more now that she’s getting a little bigger and can smile and play. I’m glad Ashley brought them over for photos!
